ABOUT ME

I can’t remember a time when misused apostrophes didn’t bother me. All my work, whether writing, editing or tutoring, is driven by the same thing: an admiration for the English language and the desire to share that with other people.

I studied at the University of Bristol and the London School of Journalism. I continue to attend writing workshops and courses, such as the Faber Academy, not only to develop my own writing but to hear other writers’ work in development.

I live in Bristol in a very small but pretty studio where I work at a 1950s school desk with a lid and an inkwell. Favourite things include loose leaf tea, good conversations, and big colourful jewellery.
